"Extremely happy with the entire event. It was well worth the money and highly valuable to not only learn but also practice hands on. "My 13yo daughter and I loved this-the highlight of our trip! Hiro (owner) and Kaori (instructor) gave us amazing personal attention. I had a sprained ankle, and they were so kind. They modified activities, walked at my pace, and kept a close eye on me. They taught the deep history and ceremony behind everything: • Calligraphy: Great challenge, even with my Chinese background! The huge Samurai paper was a blast, and we signed our names in characters. • Tea Ceremony: Beautiful and educational, even though we don't drink tea. • Samurai Sword & Armor: Active and fun! My daughter cut the bamboo all the way through on both tries. Walking to Osaka Castle in real armor was incredible; the helmet is heavy but worth it for the gorgeous photos at perfect spots. • Seppuku: Taught with deep respect, history, and family meaning. "This was an amazing activity. The Osaka Castle/Samurai armor experience was a blast, we got some great photos. Mao was an amazing guide for this activity and also for our calligraphy portion - she patiently explained how to do each action and gave excellent feedback. She also made us a “Happy Wedding” bag with beautiful calligraphy on it after she found out we were on our honeymoon. Edi’s tea ceremony was beautiful, and we were able to mix our own ceremonial matcha with each step explained. The cutting was very fun, we even got to keep the portion of bamboo we were able to cut off. All in all, it was an incredible way to spend a day in Osaka, and I would highly recommend."
